IDF Soldiers Volunteer in Carmel Forest
Even during these stormy days of Operation Protective Edge, as rockets fall incessantly on all of Israel's towns and cities, volunteer activities on behalf of the environment continue. On July 16, a group of IDF soldiers did voluntary forestry work in the Carmel Forest, as part of ongoing efforts to rehabilitate the forests ever since the devastating fires there in December 2010.
